I designed this spatula for a project that focused on using subtractive woodshop methods to create an object. I made the spatula out of solid maple for durability and gave it an organic, curving silhouette to communicate user-friendliness. The spatula has a single flowing edge that wraps around the spatula to guide the user's hand into place and lead his or her eye around the tool.
